4.0 out of 5 stars It's a good product but has some flaws, April 7, 2010

The cooler in itself if pretty good. Easy assembly, appealing to the eye and it maintains temperature pretty good. The problem I have with it is that it leaks through the drain valve. Even though it has a rubber seal in the drain plug, it seems to leak through the threads. Nothing that a little Teflon can't fix but if you don't do something about it, you'll have people slipping and sliding in the puddle it makes on the floor.

Obviously, for the price you would hope this is a good cooler... and it is for the most part. It was packed well, and arrived in good shape. I'm good at putting items together, so the assembly was easy - just take your time and organize all the parts and screws before hand. It's not stainless, silver or chrome, but more of a gray color. I had guessed that from the photo, but was wishing I might get lucky and it would be stainless. Although, if you're looking for a fun cooler on your patio and have extra cash, you should be happy.

I installed this cooler in my RV and it seemed to be the best cooler on Amazon for this purpose under $500. Instead of installing the wheels, I just screwed in 1/2 inch bolts to secure the legs. Then I screwed on the bottle cap tray so it wouldn't fall off during driving. The best part of the cooler is the drain, which is ideal if you have it bolted to... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars 2nd time was the charm, December 3, 2010

First attempt on this product was a total piece of crap. I want the hour of my life back that I spent trying to assemble this and trying to repack it when I realized assembly couldn't be done. The first step was to screw the 4 legs to the cooler. I should of stopped there when I was having a hard time getting the screws to go into the holes. I got all but one of the screws to go in so decided to continue. The next step was to screw the 4 wheels into the legs. I had a hard time with each of them but got them to screw in until I got to the last one. The threads in the legs would not take the screw on the wheel. After screwing around with this for like 40 minutes I was ready to punch a hole in the wall. I gave up and disassembled the whole thing and struggled to put it back in the box and asked for a refund.

Even beyond the assembly problems I wasn't really impressed with the quality of the product either. For $200 I expected something much better. In the picture it... Read more
