We wanted one that we could go camping and all our groceries would fit. I also take it shopping and put my groceries in it to keep cold till I get home. I have to put it in the back of our truck, it will not fit in the trunk of my car. The ice cream is still completely frozen when I get home.This is an Xtreme which says it will keep ice for 5 days. It is really nice and insulated but I don't know about that. We went picnicing for the day and put 2 16-pd bags of ice in it with food and can drinks. The drinks were not pre-chilled (which they recommend) but when we got home that night, about 1/2 the ice was water. It also has a plug to drain the water. It says it's no tilt so you can just drain without tilting the cooler. You can let excess out but we cannot get it all out without tilting the cooler. When we empty it out, we have to turn it over to get all the water out. We do really like it. Love... It arrived in two days and I'm happy with the cooler. However, my wife just called from Wal-Mart and sure enough they have the exact same cooler there for $49.98. I paid $88 here at Amazon and am more then a little disappointed. I've grown to trust that Amazon a little too much as being the defacto low price.
