| 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful  A Maxcold Wheeled Cooler - on Steroids!, By This review is from: Igloo Glide PRO Cooler (110-Quart, White) (Sports) This cooler is very much like Igloo's own Maxcold Wheeled Coolers, only beefed up for the real outdoor world. The handle in this model, like the hindges and latches, is made of metal ( in many cases, that metal is actually stanless steel ). The aforementioned handle - rubber padded where it comes in contact with the hand(s) - has two points of contact on both sides of the cooler, and extends in length for ease in pulling and to adjust for different user heights. Even these attached areas are done in metal, as are the twin latches and triple stainless steel hindges, the latter two areas that tend to fail first in these coolers. As stated earlier, the handle has two locking positions, either fully extended or fully retracted, and are secured/released by finger levers located on either side at the radius of the handle.The two wheels are more rugged and oversized compared to the same components on the Maxcold Wheeled Coolers, and seem to roll easier and will probably last longer in... Read more 10 of 12 people found the following review helpful huge!, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Igloo Glide PRO Cooler (110-Quart, White) (Sports) great cooler - really holds the cold in well, can get so many beers in here it is crazy, and the cart-style handle makes it easy to movedrawbacks - with the handle out it is like 6 feet long, so it does take some work to maneuver around corners inside buildings bear in mind that when completely full of beers and ice, this thing is REALLY freakin heavy - it was hard work lifting it into the back of the truck by myself - i had to stop for a beer break a couple of times until I got the technique right - bit like sex in that regard, I guess |
