This "jug" fits 10-12oz. bottles lined in a circle, with 3 more in the middle - a healthy 12 pack. Will fit 3 six packs if you get creative. Perfect size for a weekend getaway or tailgate for two. The spout is out of the way and the inside is marked at gallon intervals. The lid however can be a little bit tricky to put on straight but it is a minor issue. This review is from: Coleman Stainless Steel Beverage Cooler (5-Gallon) (Sports) This was my third attempt to find a water container that didn't leak at the valve. I finally found it. I have used this container for a month now and it works perfectly, no leaks! Yes this one is expensive but I could tell right away that it was well made. Glad to see that Coleman is still making quality products. The large lid takes a little getting use to but when loading ice I can see that this would be a plus.
