I measured the trunk opening and determined that it couldn't be much more than 14" deep by 14" high if it were to get it and slide all the way forward under the speakers. I was looking for a cooler to bring meat home from the store, or carry food to a church gathering or shut-ins. I was not looking for something to keep food cold for many days while camping (if that were the case, I'd look at Igloo's MaxCold line or similar from other manufacturers.)In short, this is the one I was looking for. Fits perfectly in the trunk. In the store, this was sitting next to the Sportsman 52-quart model. They were identical except for the color and the fact that the Sportsman had a drain while the Family does not.
