If you have a lot of stuff in your cooler and fill it with ice someone will slam the lid and break this or detach it rendering it useless. This is really an impractical item unless there was a recessed area for it to be placed in the bottom of the lid. First off, you have to stick it in just the correct location for it to work.. Problem is, once you stick it and take it off, it won't go back. We were camping and couldn't get it to work by opening the door, so went to move it and it wouldn't stick back. So, we just through it in the cooler. You oculd pick it up and jiggle it around(if you could see to find it that is) and it would light up. That part worked fine, but after sitting in ice water all night it rusted and didn't work again. I would just recommend setting a lantern next to your cooler or throwing some glow sticks in there. It would be just as effective. |
